Day 1

Arrive in the city. Settle into your hotel room and take some time to relax. No breakfast on arrival day. 

Day 2

Today head southwest from the city center of Johannesburg to the township of Soweto, built on rolling hills and home to more than 2 million people. First, visit Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, the largest on the African continent, Visit the Hector Pieterson Memorial dedicated to the 1976 Soweto Uprising, a series of pro-democracy protests led by high school students against the apartheid regime. Make a stop at the modest brick house that revolutionary and South African president Nelson Mandela once called home, now a National Heritage monument and museum. Afterward, visit the nearby home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a leading social rights activist and opponent of apartheid.

Day 3

Set out on a Private Johannesburg City Tour, the tour includes a stop at MuseuMAfricA, where visitors journey into the continent’s rich history and see how its first civilizations thrived. Marvel at a variety of ethnological artifacts that reflect thousands of years of Africa’s heritage. The tour also passes through the banking district, the Magistrate's Court, and the Supreme Court and also visit  the “Top of Africa” at the Carlton Center—the continent’s tallest building—and delight in sweeping views of Johannesburg you won’t find anywhere else.

Experience Pretoria on a Private Tour of Pretoria City, start off at Voortrekker Monument. It is the biggest monument in Africa at a height of 40 meters. Church square is the next stop. It is Pretoria’s city center with a statue of the first President Paul Kruger surrounded by 4 Boer soldiers.Many old buildings are surrounding the area and are quite something to see. One of the buildings is the Palace of Justice, which was the venue of the Treason Trial of former President Nelson Mandela and others who were accused of treason against the state.

This day is set aside for you to rest, shop and visit places of your choice if there are.
